PTI Industries, Expanding its Bonding Div. Production Capability.

As part of a proactive plan to better meet the future need of our expanding customer base, PTI has invested in a custom designed and built adhesive curing oven, bringing the total number of our facility curing stations to ten.  The new convection oven has an interior space of 6’ X 6’ X 8’ and a curing temperature range of 100-500 °F.  The oven will not only increase overall curing capacity, but also will effectively double PTI’s current part size capability. The oven is being designed and built by JPW Design of Trout Run PA (www.jpwdesign.com) and is scheduled to be on line by late December 2006.

The new oven is part of an overall expansion plan for PTI Industries Bonding Division.  Additional components of the plan include; expansion of our production facility, further development of production cells for commercial work, capital equipment expenditures for Platen Press and Autoclave capability and new process certifications.

PTI Industries continues to develop and expand on its core competencies of: Adhesive Bonding, Teflon® Bonding, RTV and Film Adhesive Bonding.  Bonding of complex shapes, short runs and parts that do not lend themselves to standard automated assembly practice.
