PTI's 4th NADCAP Composites Audit

PTI Industries Inc. recently completed its 4^th NADCAP composites audit and we are looking forward to another year of improved performance because of it!

While audits are never fun, given their place in the spectrum of continuous improvement methodology, they can be a very helpful tool.  Having a set of objective eyes review processes and policies is a sure way of bringing to light those procedural or documentation issues that are so subjectively a part of our businesses, that we no longer recognize them as deficient in any way.  The audits are one more way to keep us sharp and always moving forward.

PTI's association with NADCAP has been a productive one.  Not only does it assist us in solidifying the relationships we have with our customers, it also gives us immediate common ground with aircraft and aerospace parts processors across the country and all over the world.

Our 2007 NADCAP audit was our most efficient to date.  Our developing experience coupled with an organized and efficient auditor made this a very productive use of time and resources.  As a result of this and the experience of past audits, PTI was awarded merit and will now enjoy an eighteen month window before our next visit from the NADCAP audit team.
