Adhesive Bonding

Adhesive Bonding joins virtually any materials together and includes metal, rubber, plastic and composite bonds.  PTI Industries’ state-of-the-art adhesive bonding services also include Teflon® fabric and tape bonding, Vespel® bonding and RTV silicone joints.  

Coatings

Our various Dow Coatings prevent corrosion on Magnesium parts and act as a base for additional surface treatments.

 PTI’s magnesium coatings include Dow 7, Dow 17 and Dow 19.   PTI also coats parts with Solid Film Lubrication, known as "dry film lubrication" or "anti-gall.”  Our Nitric Acid Passivation process prevents rusting on Stainless Steel components, we offer both type two and type six.

Precision Cleaning & Cleanliness Testing

Our precision cleaning & testing service cleans parts to quantifiable levels using:  ultrasonics, turbulent flushing, high pressure spray washing, vapor degreasing, immersion cleaning, CO₂ Cleaning, media blasting and citric passivation.  We test for Particulate contamination and Non-Volatile Residue using computer based Microscopes, Electronic Micro Balances, Flash Evaporators, Ultraviolet Light and conductivity.  

Non-Destructive Testing

PTI Industries’ nondestructive analysis services include Fluorescent Penetrant inspection (FPI) and Magnetic Particle inspection (MPI).  These nondestructive tests can locate and assess component defects with an extremely high level of accuracy.
